NASPGHAN – CPNP Scholarship Program for CPNP/NASPGHAN Annual Meeting

Nutrition Symposium for Dietitians
October 18-19, 2019

NASPGHAN and the Council for Pediatric Nutrition Professionals (CPNP) are pleased to offer scholarships to attend the CPNP Nutrition Symposium on Friday, October 18 and Saturday, October 19 in Chicago, IL.  Supported by grants from Abbott Nutrition and Mead Johnson Nutrition, these scholarships are open to those who have an interest in advancing their career and involvement in pediatric nutrition. You must be a CPNP member to apply. Membership applications can be found on the website at: http://www.naspghan.org/content/123/en/. You may submit a scholarship application with your membership application.

The scholarships are $400 each to help defray registration and travel costs to attend the meeting. You will need to register for the symposium. Interested CPNP member dietitians should submit an application form to the NASPGHAN National Office by following this link no later than August 9, 2019.

Highlights of this year’s symposium include presentations by multidisciplinary experts on the topics of Nutrition support teams, Nutrition in transplant, Nutrition in CF and Malnutrition in the neonate. The breakout sessions this year include: Nutrition follow up of the NICU graduate, Thickening in pediatrics and Resource sharing: The low FODMAP diet.

We are also excited to announce that several sessions, held during the general NASPGHAN Annual Meeting, were approved for CPEUs as an added value to our members.
