President
Carmyn Thompson has been practicing for over 15 years as a pediatric dietitian in Chicago. Carmyn’s areas of expertise include Gastroenterology, Short Gut Syndrome, ICU, CCU and NICU.

Abigail Lundin, MS, RD, CSP
President-Elect
Abigail has been working at UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital Oakland for 8 years in both inpatient and outpatient settings. She works in a clinical role specializing in pediatric GI, including IBD and feeding disorders. She has been a membeail r of CPNP since its first year and loved attending our Annual Conferences for the past 7 years plus N2U in 2016. For the past 2 years, she has had the honor of being the CPNP Media Chair. She manages the marketing and social media for CPNP, assists with production of the Nutrition Pearls, and serves on the Executive Committee. She’s excited for the opportunity to potentially continue leadership with CPNP with goals that include: expanding the diversity of our organization, improving networking and mentorship within our members, and delivering high-quality educational content to the medical community.

Megan Murphy RD, CSP
Secretary/Treasurer
Megan works at UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital Oakland. She’s been a dietitian for 10 years, and has worked in both adult and pediatric care, in hospitals, clinics and various community settings. She currently works exclusively in GI clinics, covering everything from General GI to Celiac, EOE, IBD, & liver disease patients. She wants to be elected to CPNP Council Leadership to help support the organization that has supported her learning and professional development over the last several years.
Bailey Koch RD, CSP, LD
Clinical Practice Chair
Bailey started her career 17 years ago at Northside Hospital and then at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta at Scottish Rite with Pediatric Nutrition as her main focus. In 2006, Bailey joined the GI Care for Kids team and founded Atlanta Pediatric Nutrition in 2008. While at GI Care for Kids, she has developed an interest in helping children with Celiac Disease, food allergies, eosinophilic esophagitis, FPIES, failure to thrive and feeding difficulties among other diagnoses. Bailey is a Food Allergy Specialist and holds a certificate of training in childhood and adolescent weight management. Bailey has served on various committees for CPNP. She is a member of the Medical Advisory Board for both The FPIES Foundation and Nutrition4Kids.com. Education of future dietitians in pediatrics is important to her, thus she serves as a preceptor to dietetic interns throughout the country who are interested in the specialized area of pediatric nutrition. She has been a guest speaker for CNN Newsroom in addition to being interviewed for many magazine and news articles on the topic of pediatric nutrition.

Sharon Weston MS, RD, LDN
Communications Chair
Sharon Weston has been practicing as a pediatric dietitian for over 30 years. She is currently employed as a Clinical Nutrition Specialist III at Boston Children’s Hospital, and previously worked at Geisinger Medical Center and with the New Hampshire Special Medical Services Bureau. Sharon has taken a special interest in Blenderized Formula and is also the lead dietitian for the Optimal Wellness for Life Clinic. Within NASPGHAN, she has contributed to the Nutrition Pearls and the CPNP newsletter, presented in past NASPGHAN and CPNP conferences, served as a reviewer for the web-based educational nutrition curriculum for pediatric GI fellows, is one of the CPNP representatives for the Public Education Committee, and is part of the planning committee for the CPNP 2020 conference.

Nicole Martin RD, CD
Media Chair
Nicole has been practicing as a registered dietitian for over 6 years at Children’s Wisconsin. Her areas of specialty include gastroenterology and food allergies. She has been involved with CPNP since 2016 and is interested in growing professionally through consistent and organized involvement with a professional organization like CPNP.

Jen Smith, MS, RD, CSP, LD, LMT
Research Chair
Jen has been a dietitian for 17 years and has worked her entire career in Gastroenterology at Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. Jen works with all patients with GI conditions and her area of interest is Inflammatory Bowel Disease. Jen is excited at the opportunity to be part of Council leadership to help further research opportunities for other members of CPNP. Research is so important to Jen and as a Clinical Dietitian she hopes to become a mentor to other dietitians with aspirations of performing research in a clinical setting.

Kirsten Jones RD, CSP, LD
Program Chair
Kirsten has been a dietitian for 5 years, with 4 of those being focused in pediatric GI at Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. Having been to three CPNP meetings as a member, she would love to get involved with CPNP on a deeper level! CPNP has given her great learning, speaking, and networking opportunities.

Sally Schwartz, RD, CSP, LDN
Past President
Sally Schwartz has been practicing as a registered dietitian for 20 years, the last 15 years at Ann and Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago with the department gastroenterology, Hepatology and nutrition. Sally’s areas of expertise include Motility, Eosinophilic Esophagitis and Inflammatory Bowel Diseases. Sally has been involved with CPNP since 2014, holding positions as Communications Chair and President-Elect.
